Apparently vitamin C is being debated right now. The results seem to be that it's very good for preventative measure but once you're actually sick it's not as good as previously believed. Still, buying some vitamin C would be a good idea to ward off anything.

Darn it all, in spite of everything I tried to do to stay healthy, I caught the crud anyway. I'm sniffling and sneezing and the sinus pressure is killing me. I guess I'll keep on taking the vitamin C. Even if it's not proven to shorten the length of a cold, it probably can't hurt.

one thing that has habitually worked well for me is consuming many of water to relentlessly flush out my system. Lots of fluids and rest will manage wonders for stopping getting ill, not just assisting you one time you currently are.
