I think you should Try to 'dab' rather then swab after you have been to toilet. Also trial to wear cotton fabric underwear which is a bit misplace fitting. Make certain to proceed to lavatory often (holding it in can make it worse) and finally don't let that "area" get very cold

Normally, urine is sterile. It is usually free of bacteria, viruses, and fungi but does contain fluids, salts, and waste products.
