Default A Common Dietary Problem: Inadequate Protein and Fats

Judith Price, a nutritionist also trained in hypnotherapy, describes the nutritional and dietary treatment given to a lady suffering from depression, fatigue, hormonal imbalance and irritable bowel syndrome largely due to inadequate protein and fats, which completely transformed not only her physical symptoms but also her appearance and outlook.

The client’s diet was found to be low in protein, which had led to significant mineral deficiencies, low in essential fatty acids and with a high wheat intake. She was advised to follow a therapeutic organic diet, eliminating sugar, coffee, tea, alcohol and wheat and dairy products and increasing good quality fibre, protein and essential fatty acids in order to balance her low sugar levels, her hormonal health and her bowel inflammation.
